Submissions

Submissions, rights, review copy, and genre guidance for Wolf 359 Press AB: science fiction, fantasy, speculative fiction, and romance.

Wolf 359 Press AB is currently focussed on building its in-house catalogue. We are not running a general open submissions window, but we do welcome serious rights, review copy, retail, partnership, and highly targeted manuscript conversations that clearly fit the press.

Useful enquiries should be specific. Include the genre, title, author name, status of the work, relevant rights or territory, comparable titles, and why the project belongs with Wolf 359 Press.

Science Fiction

For Wolf 359 Press, science fiction should treat discovery as consequence. We are drawn to hard science fiction, near futures, deep space, first contact, artificial intelligence, climate pressure, systems under stress, and technology that changes what people can know, owe, or survive.

We are especially interested in science fiction where the speculative idea is inseparable from character: inventions that expose ambition, contact events that destabilise institutions, and futures that feel intellectually credible as well as emotionally charged.

Fantasy

Fantasy for Wolf 359 Press should carry atmosphere, cost, and consequence. We are interested in mythic systems, dangerous magic, secondary worlds, folkloric shadows, and stories where power has a price.

We prefer fantasy that understands rules, culture, history, and desire. Magic should not only decorate the world; it should pressure the people inside it and force choices that matter.

Speculative Fiction

Speculative fiction at Wolf 359 Press sits at the border between literary control and genre force. We look for work that bends reality without losing clarity, language, atmosphere, or emotional precision.

This may include uncanny premises, alternate realities, social speculation, near-future pressure, or stories where one impossible change reveals something true about human behaviour.

Romance

Romance for Wolf 359 Press should be emotionally intelligent, character-led, and built around real longing. We are interested in contemporary romance, second chances, found family, coastal or small-town settings, slow-burn intimacy, and love stories where staying is an active choice.

The romance must carry the emotional engine of the book. We value warmth, tension, vulnerability, and satisfying resolution, with characters whose internal lives matter as much as the external plot.

Current Submissions Position

We are not accepting general unsolicited submissions. Targeted enquiries may be considered only where the project clearly fits the Wolf 359 Press catalogue and the message shows a serious understanding of the press.
